WHO ARE THE FRIENDS OF THE CULTURAL ARTS CENTER?
The Friends of the Cultural Arts Center (FCAC) is a volunteer-run nonprofit that works hand-in-hand with The Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center to support its classes, programs, instructors, and special events. We raise funds for student class fee assistance and instructor professional development, help purchase supplies and equipment, and promote the wide range of creative opportunities at the The Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center. We also coordinate volunteers, assist with art fundraisers, and pitch in wherever needed to keep the center’s community thriving. If you love the arts and want to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to have you involved.

The Fundraising Committee helps organize fundraisers and donor activities that make things like scholarships, instructor development, and a myriad of other ways to support The Priscilla R. Tyson Cultural Arts Center possible. It’s a fun mix of ideas, teamwork, and community connection.
